Kristin Bergsten graduated from the Haywood Community College Fiber Productions Craft program in 1985. And she has been weaving and sewing handwoven items and fine textiles for over 35 years. Kristin has spent the past 25 years exhibiting at the North Carolina State Fair and has won Best of Show ribbons on multiple occasions as well as first and second place ribbons for my handwoven items.

Kristin uses high quality yarns in her production items. She weaves table linens such as hand towels, pot holders, mug mats, and place mats, and one of a kind blankets and table runners.

She has sold her work at the Triangle Weaver Market shows for the last few years. And other guild events for almost 40. Kristin is currently selling her work at the North Carolina Craft Gallery in Carrboro, NC and has been doing so for the last 16 years.
